Speesees Organic Baby Clothes

Speesees, the hip, earth-conscious brand of organic baby clothing, is a hit for us. Most days we like comfortable, casual play clothes that make a statement and their body suits and yoga pants fit the bill.

All of their clothing is 100% certified organic cotton. The company also supports fair trade principles in its factory in the US and with their organic cotton farmers in India.

Things we like:

• The clothing and accessories come in bold earth tones.
• The shirts give homage to plant and animal species (humans, pups, kids and dandelions) with PVC-free plastisol prints.
• The colors, made from low-impact herbal dyes are bright and bold earth tones that don't fade after washing. In fact they still look like new, unlike conventional cotton outfits that look worn and faded after one or two washings.
• We don't go out seeking them, but my daughter gets lots of compliments in her sea-horse bodysuit.

Things we dislike:

• It's kind of hard to make choices when everything is so darn cute.

Recommendations:

If simplistic, eco-conscious, and fun describes the style you envision for your baby, then these clothes are a good choice. The fabric is soft, loose-fitting and durable. Speaking of durability, many of their outfits are gender neutral - in the event that you plan to save your organic baby clothes for a future sibling.

All in all Speesees clothes are a good value and the company has good values. My daughter will be wearing them as long as she possibly can.
