Robeez Baby Shoes: Product ReviewRobeez Product Review Performance Rating: 5 out of 5 stars I got tired of retracing our steps around the grocery store after my daughter kicked off one or both of her socks or shoes. These baby shoes solved the problem, because they have elastic gathering around the ankles that is neither too tight or too loose. I know because if they were the least bit uncomfortable my daughter would find a way to get them off.
When I put the shoes on she doesn't seem the least bit concerned with them. It's like she's barefoot. The soles are thin and flexible and she walks comfortably both indoors and outdoors. This is an improvement over socks because she doesn't slip or slide in them. We went with a basic white moccasin, even though I was concerned about them staying clean. To my surprise they are still white after a couple of months of wearing. The company gives detailed instructions for washing them when the time comes. On the other hand the sole of the shoe got dark almost immediately. At first you could see her footprint, now it is completely black. I suppose I could wash them, but in my mind, shoes being worn are supposed to be dirty on the bottom. On the topic of safety, the company provides detailed information about the testing safety of it's product. "Robeez shoes are lead-free, non-flammable, and non-toxic," says the company website. One other thing I like about this mom-founded company is their commitment to give shoes to hundreds of thousands of children around the world.
