Product Review of Natures Paradise
Organic Shampoo and Conditioner

Performance Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Natures Paradise Organic Shampoo and Detangling Conditioner are USDA certified organic.

Initially I had no plans to purchase Natures Paradise organic shampoo because I was content to use my baby's 2 in 1 Shampoo & Body Wash by Natures Paradise.

However, as I was browsing their site, I realized they had an OrganicPro RELAXING Shampoo formula, an organic shampoo designed specifically for curly and African-American hair. Natures Paradise also has a THICKENING and a MOISTURIZING formula, each of which can be paired with the OrganicPro leave in, detangling conditioner.

I ordered the relaxing formula and the conditioner and here are my thoughts...

I LOVE IT! Yes, I'm that enthusiastic. Here's why...

Features to Love

  • The Natures Paradise organic shampoo ingredient list:

organic green tea leaf extract, organic saponified sunflower oil, organic saponified palm oil, organic saponified coconut oil, organic Bragg apple cider vinegar, organic rice, organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, organic avocado oil, organic jojoba oil, organic lychee fruit extract, organic kiwi fruit extract, organic mango extract, organic safflower oil, organic sunflower oil, xanthan gum.

  • The conditioner ingredient list:

Ingredients: organic green tea leaf extract, organic Bragg apple cider vinegar, organic lychee fruit extract, organic kiwi fruit extract, organic jojoba oil, vegetable glycerin, xanthan gum.

  • The shampoo has a creamy texture and cleans my scalp without stripping moisture from my hair. In fact it feels moisturized. This formula is designed with extra moisture to tame frizz and curls and it does that.

  • The leave-in conditioner is a light mist that can be used alone to add luster to hair or freshen up a hair style.

  • The entire family can use it. My husband used it and said, "I guess you should order the bigger size." (This is great, I'll clean out his toiletry cabinet one product at a time.) I also feel comfortable using it on my two year old daughter - although since she has her own stash of the baby shampoo, this will just keep me out of hers.

Room For Improvement

  • I don't have any suggestions on enhancements for the shampoo. Now, because I have a drier texture of hair I do follow the shampoo and conditioner with a bit of coconut oil and shea butter of my own for styling, but I expect that.

  • The wrap-arounds on the packaging doesn't hold up too well around moisture.

The Bottom Line

These are good, organic hair care products. They clean and condition your hair at reasonable prices. If you haven't dumped the chemical-laden hair care products, now is the time to free your self.

I'd recommend starting out with the OrganicPro Sample Kit. It allows you to try all four Natures Paradise organic shampoo products and determine your favorite formula. Remember you can always save a few pennies by using the 15% off coupon code exclusive to Organic Baby Resource, which is 1846.
