Natures Paradise Body Organic Line Product Review
Natures Paradise Body Line Performance Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I've mentioned before that my interest in organics goes beyond my baby. I'm always trying new products that can win over my husband (and pamper me) as we carry out our daily living. I've tried some of the Natures Paradise Body Care products and wanted to share my thoughts with you. Products I Tried:
Natures Paradise Hand Wash (Pineapple)(5 stars)Ingredients include organic green tea, organic coconut oil soap, organic pineapple extract. The hand wash comes in a transparent pumping foam bottle. Natures Paradise Body Wash (Peaches & Cream) (4 stars)Ingredients include Water, Organic Coconut Oil soap, Organic Peach Extract, Organic Jojoba Oil and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. The body wash comes in a pumping foam bottle in an 18 oz. size. Natures Paradise Body Lotion(Unscented) (3 stars)Ingredients include Organic Green Tea, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Liquid Lecithin, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Arrowroot Powder, natural flavors, Organic Clarified Lemon Juice.
Features to Love:- All ingredients are certified organic.
- I love the foaming action created by the Hand Wash and Body Wash.
- The tropical fragrances are derived naturally from fruit and they do not irritate my skin. Natures Paradise also has 10 fragrances to choose from.
Room For Improvement: The lotion was too thick for the pump bottle. As I got near the end I was unable to get all of the product out. I tried beating the bottom of the bottle, but the lotion was stuck there. I was unable to get it all out of the bottle. It was also difficult to rub on the skin evenly. Natures Paradise should consider a consistency that goes on smoother and perhaps a squeeze tube so that all product can be easily extracted from the bottle. Note: I called customer service and they said others had called in about the thickness of the lotion and they were looking into it. They said in the meantime the body cream might work better. The representative explained that organic products often change with the temperature, in other words they solidify in colder temperatures and liquefy in warmer temperatures. I actually ordered my lotion in December of 2008. The Bottom Line:
Natures Paradise Body Organics products a good alternative to conventional body care products. I'd use the hand wash in the bathrooms and kitchen to encourage frequent hand washing amongst the family. The body wash is a nice treat and if you don't like fragrance, they do have an unscented version. Also I took a look at the ingredient list of the organic body wash and compared it to the Organic Baby 2 in 1 Shampoo & Body Wash. I love the Unscented version, and the only difference is the organic baby wash contains Green Tea as the first ingredient instead of water. The Unscented version of the baby wash is colorless and odorless, and just as foamy. So if you're ultra sensitive or want to try and get one product that accommodates the entire family, the baby wash is a great one to start with. As for the lotion, I might skip it and try the Natures Paradise body cream instead. It comes in a tube and has all of the same fragrance options.
