I have nothing but good things to say about the Naturepedic mattress I sampled (via the company), the Naturepedic 2 in 1 Organic Cotton Ultra, mattress and The No-Compromise™ Organic Waterproof Pad.

However, to help you understand my enthusiasm, let me take you through our experience the last 22 months with a conventional mattress.

When we were expecting we registered for one, knowing nothing about the benefits of having an organic crib mattress in the nursery.

My husband and I had every intention of having our child sleep in her crib after we transitioned from her bassinet. Three months turned to eight months and eight months turned to many.

The No-Compromise™ Organic Waterproof Pad consists of 100% organic cotton fabric on the outside. On the inside is a DrySleep™ technology, which is a medical grade film that blocks liquids.
The 2 in 1 ORGANIC COTTON ULTRA Baby Crib & Toddler Mattress has two sides. The firmer side is suitable for infants, it is made of waterproof polyethylene, a food grade plastic. The insides are made of 100% organic cotton and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant solution.

More color varieties in the organic crib sheets would be nice.
