Review of Miessence Deodorant

I've struggled to find deodorant without chemical-based antiperspirants that last all day.

Many times I've found myself embarrassed in social situations and at the time my granola principles didn't seem as important.

Smelling like you have limited access to soap and bath water when you do have access just doesn't work for most people and it doesn't work for me either.

I consider myself an extreme case when it comes to deodorant protection needs, so I tried this one with skepticism.

Here's what I experienced with this product.

certified organic aloe vera leaf juice, certified organic bergamot essential oil, xanthan gum, certified organic ylang ylang essential oil, sodium bicarbonate, certified organic geranium essential oil, certified organic lime essential oil, certified organic patchouli essential oil, bitter orange fruit extract

Features to Love

• Free of aluminum compounds and chemical antiperspirants.
• The Tahitian Breeze fragrance is mild, earthy and unisex.
• While the Miessence deodorant is liquid it doesn't leave you with that wet feeling. In other words, its absorbed into the skin pretty quickly.

Room for Improvement

All of the ingredients are not organic therefore the solution is not 100% organic. However, I have yet to find a more natural solution for a deodorant this effective.

Bottom Line

This product is strictly for organic moms and dads - savor the days when your child doesn't need deodorant. Although if your child is like mine, she will try to apply it just because mommy does.

The deodorant has a nice fragrance that doesn't overwhelm the senses. I've tried lots of natural deodorants where I could not stand to smell myself after a few hours. That is not the case here, It is far more effective than others I've tried.

It lasts for 4 - 5 hours if you are NOT in hot, sweaty conditions. If it's your first time out, take the deodorant along in case you need reapplication. My husband on the other hand can wear this all day without needing a retouch.

For those ultra hot days, where I have social engagements I am still looking for something that gives me the confidence to be 100% natural when it comes to deodorant. However, as a work at home mom, most of my days don't involve a lot of perspiration, so I use Miessence deodorant and opt for something stronger only when I deem it necessary.
