My grandson is 3 1/2 months old, his mom just called and said he is throwing up, it's not just spit up, he's throwing up and has done it a couple of times tonight. His cheeks are rozy, but no fever. He has not pooped today either and usually does at least twice a day. Not sure what is going on, but think he is teething, could this all be caused from teething? and what can you give a 3 1/2 month old to settle his tummy?
thank you... Concerned Grandma,,,
Erika's Reply: Hi Diane, this situation definitely sounds like it's worthy of concern and I empathize with you. With a baby so young, I do not want to guess what is going on. Please contact his primary care physician or some on-call medical professional to determine if an emergency room or office visit is necessary.
I do hope that he's on his way to feeling better now, and if you get a chance, please let us know what the diagnosis was and how the medical professional recommended you treat it. Blessings.
