Homemade Organic Baby Food by Homemade Baby: A Product Review

Product Review Performance Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars

I'd heard about the fresh, homemade organic baby food made by Homemade Baby, but I'd been unable to track a jar down in my neighborhood. The folks at Homemade Baby were kind enough to send us a sampling.

The first thing I noticed was how long the product stayed fresh - four to five months. Homemade Baby says this is possible because of their Fresh Chill™ Cooking Method. I also liked the fact that I could separate small amounts out for my baby and reseal the unused portion easily.

I was able to taste each flavor myself and this food is yummy and fresh! My favorite flavor is the Piwi (pears blended with kiwi) flavor. Each baby is unique, but I found my daughter likes her food warmed up slightly. I just put it on the stove top for a few minutes and serve it up.

My Recommendation

Homemade organic baby food is fresh. Homemade Baby stands out in a crowd when it comes to fresh, organic baby food. It is fresher and more flavorful than anything I've ever bought from a jar.

It is probably more nutritious as well, but I haven't conducted any tests. What I do know is you can taste the difference.

The flavors range from the simple single ingredient foods to the more elaborate.

As with any homemade organic baby food, I recommend starting with the more basic flavors and working your way up, because the rice, beans and corn in the Tex Mex and Yummy Yammies. recipes do require some chewing skills.

While you will save money and maintain creative control by making your baby's own food, the convenience of Homemade Baby is undeniable.

I recommend Homemade Baby as a primary baby food solution for the mom on the go and as a back up solution for the mom who likes to make her baby's food from scratch.
