Fruit Pops

I remember loving ice pops as a child and when I saw the ice pop molds online I decided to buy them to make pops for my 10 month old. I found the cutest little molds online that have little hands and make hollow pops. They are called Prepara Volcano molds. They are not necessary to make pops but my daughter holds it easily.

Ingredients:

- Ice pop mold
- Juice, Fresh Fruit, Baby food

Instructions (we decided to use fresh fruit the first time, but juice can be used as well as baby food)

- Put fruit in blender or food mill until it is the consistency of baby food (add either water or juice to thin out)
- Pour into molds
- Freeze and enjoy!

* This is such a simple idea and it is healthy and refreshing for our little ones in the summer!

Ideas for Flavors: Peach/Pineapple, Apple/Pear, Apple/Carrot (use apple juice instead of water)

The molds we used are shown in the picture above and I like them because I can add something to the middle, the center is hollow (and the manufacturer's website says they are BPA free :] ), for example, we tried doing apple pops (using juice) then filled the center with homemade apple sauce! My daughter loved the different textures as well the cold yummy applesauce.

Erika's Note: Nicole, thank you for providing so much detail in your review. This is an awesome idea for a baby or toddler! By the way Prepara's Popsicle Moulds are also on Amazon.
