Drummer Hoff is a board book that tells the story of an army preparing a canon. We received it as a gift. I was wary about a book that I felt glorified war, but my husband reads it to our daughter and she loves it. It must be the repetition of words...drummer hoff fired it off. It is also beautifully illustrated in vivid colors. It is her favorite book!
