Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Review

What is your favorite book to read with your baby? My daughter and I love Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Junior, John Archambault and illustrated by Lois Ehlert.

We make up a song as we read it and sometimes beat an African drum during the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Chorus. This rhythmic book is a great way to help your baby discover the alphabet.

Throughout the book each letter climbs up the coconut tree and the tension builds as you turn the pages to find out if there will be enough room for the entire alphabet. What I love most about it is seeing my daughter pick up the book without me and sounding out letters, as she tries to recall our song.
