We chose to use the BornFree glass bottles when I finished breastfeeding my son at 10 months old. The transition from breast to silicone nipples with a wonderful ventilation system was easy for him to take to.
And I appreciated the peace of mind I had in knowing I wasn't introducing chemicals from the bottle into the soy formula he was now drinking. I had a pleasant experience with the transition - enough that I recommended the brand of bottles to everyone I knew.
Before I had my son I worked in the daycare system for ten years. I had pretty much used and been exposed to using every type of brand of feeding systems they make. This is by far the best one for us, and in turn, for anyone who needs to use bottles. He also uses the BornFree pacifiers.
The only dislike was that they didn't make a crisscross cut nipple for making cereal bottles. Not too big of a deal since they can easily be cut!
The sippy cups do leak if tilted or upside down. They are not leak-proof. For now we are using one of them when he is in a highchair (he is now two years old) and we use a different brand of sippy cups/traveling cups for other times.
