How old your baby was when you used it: 4 months
Likes: organic, mixes easily, hexane & BPA-free, baby likes it, price is better than Enfamil and Enfamil
Dislikes: It's not as readily available at the local grocery store where I do most of my shopping
Rating: 5
My milk supply dwindled after going back to work (I work 12-hour shifts), so I reluctantly looked into supplementing with formula. As a pediatric nurse, I was already aware of the ingredients in Similac and Enfamil, which is what the hospital serves, and I REFUSED to feed my own baby that garbage!
So I did some research and came across this fantastic product! To the people here who say it's expensive - do a price-comparison. a 12.5oz can of Enfamil goes for $13.99, and Similac sells a 23.2oz can for $24.89 (roughly $11.6/12.5oz).
Whole Foods sells Baby's only for $10.99/12.7oz, and I found it for as cheap as $9.92/can on LuckyVitamin.com (free shipping on orders >$100). I'm fortunate that a can lasts me 2-3 weeks as I only supplement with about 6oz/day, but even so, this is cheaper than any of the other formula I've seen, and you know you're not feeding your child crap. I'm hoping this will become available at my hospital some day.
